Digital to Audio Conversion and Intro to Synthesis Powerpoint

This is the powerpoint I spent most of last week researching for. I think it can be improved upon/added to, so please leave any thoughts/comments you have!!

I was planning on doing Wavetables in this powerpoint, but I quickly realized that wavetables make much more sense when one knows the basics of music synthesis. So the next powerpoint will be on wavetables... or at least, that is once again the plan.

Digital to Audio Conversion

This one was a tough presentation to make, because there's not a whole lot of "in-breadth" information. For example, it's hard to describe what an ADC does without getting into the circuitry. So I did my best - comments would be appreciated on what I am missing/could add in!

Next up: wave table synthesis...

Sampling

This is another powerpoint I've been working on. It covers sampling.

Next will come a powerpoint on digital to audio conversion, and then wavetables.

The Physics of Sound

This is a powerpoint I made for our reference. It contains the basic physics of sound - key words, how it travels, etc.

It could also be used as the slide for the first lecture.
